Windows Picture and Fax Viewer Error

My picture and fax viewer stopped working when I installed Macromedia Stucio
MX 2004.

I double click on an image in a folder and Picture and Fax viewer opens, but
it says "No Preview Available" and a box pops up saying "Windows cannot find
file.jpg, make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again"

I can roll back on system restore but I want this software installed.

Any ideas how to fix picture and fax viewer?
