I've just done a reinstall of XP and I want to know in what order should I
install the .net Frameworks. I've nothing but problems with them in the
past. Should I do 3, 2 and then 1? Or should install just 3 or what? Many

Go to the update site and let it do its thing.

I did and it still didt not install right when I used the Belarc Advisor.

*What* did not install right ? If you're attempting to install a .NET
Framework and an intrusive [Norton, McAfee, etc] antivirus program is
actively monitoring the system, then that's your culprit.
BTW, there is no need to install any .NET Frameworks unless you've
installed software that needs it to run.
That's how you can determine which version of .NET to install. There's
no specific order for installing the different runtimes.
