Windows opening when not requested please help me.

My computer opens windows, games and start menu when not asked to and my
mouse just shoots from one end to the other. I would like to know whats up
please. I have run norton 360 but it gave it the ok so i am stuck.

The mouse might be dirty or broken, but most likely is a corrupt mouse driver.
Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the Mouse device, Action
menu, "Uninstall", then restart Windows, to find the device drivers again
automatically.

If the mouse is on a glossy surface, that can be the cause of the wild
movements.. Use a dull, grainy surface, even a sheet of paper, but a
cloth or rubber mousepad is best.

If a wireless mouse, try changing the used frequency by pressing the
send or reset buttons on the bottom of the mouse, and the top of the
sending unit. Change the batteries in the mouse. Move ant powerpacks
and other transformers away from the mouse and the sending unit.
