There is no such product as "Windows Office" so I presume you mean
Microsoft Office or perhaps Word Perfect Office.

In any event this is OEM software that came bundled with your computer
and in accordance with the OEM licensing agreements between the
computer manufacturer/assembler and the software companies it is the
computer manufacturer/assembler that has the full and sole
responsibility for all end user support or product warranty issues
regarding this OEM software.

You should therefore contact the manufacturer/assembler of your
computer or the computer dealer that you purchased it from for product
support and other assistance with this software.

Good luck

In addition, Tom.....what make is your system? I have never heard of
this.

If the "trial version" of Microsoft Office is the version found here:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/default.mspx

Then I would assume that the answer you seek would be here:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/convert.mspx

Specifically, as it came with a new computer, here:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/pctrial/convert.mspx

Hope that helps you!

Just uninstall it and download Open Office. FREE and almost identical.
After you are convinced of the true value of FREE software get rid of XP
and install Linux.
