I work at an elementary school and our computers run Windows XP Pro SP2 with
the Novell Client for Windows...we have had issues wherein teachers would
plug in USB Thumb drives and Windows would automatically assign drive letter
F: to the thumb drives even though there is no E:. The problem is that F: is
reserved by Novell. We can fix it after the fact, but...is there any way to
pre-emptively make Windows assign E: to the thumb drive? All the computers
have is a hard drive and a single optical drive, so there should be no reason
to skip E:.
