I am sending the error report from the event viewer

Event Category: None
Event ID: 6
Date: 6/2/2008
Time: 11:18:09 AM

Computer: DESK
Description:
CheckTemperature. Exception. hr = 0x80004003.

Thanks for any assistance.

Had the same thing happen this weekend; checked Task Manager and spool.exe
was using a massive amount of the processor, so I googled spool.exe, and
found this site:

http://www.file.net/process/spool.exe.html

Searched in the windows directory and found spool.exe in the
windows/system32/drivers directory. After deleting spool.exe, I shut down
the computer and rebooted it; all was back to normal.

Hope this helps

I have the same problem as Ned. I checked Task Manager and only 1 % of the
processor is used. So this is not my problem.
