Windows - No Disk

DB

Everytime I boot up my computer a box appears which is headed 'Windows - No
Disk'. Then in the dialogue box it says 'There is no disk in the drive.
Please insert a disk into drive.' I have tried putting a disk into the drive
and pressing continue but nothing happens. I can get rid of it by pressing
cancel a couple of times. It isn't causing any problem, it's just annoying.
Can anyone help me to get rid of thi box please. It only appears when I boot
up. No other time.

Thanks
Dave

Did you try to change the boot options? Just make it go straight to the
hardrive instead of checking the floppy/cd-rom first. I wouldn't
recomend leaving it that way but could help you figure out the problem
if it works

I was able to fix this by, starting my computer and clicking on "F8"
immediately, then booting up in "Safe Boot" this worked, I restarted my
computer again and repeated the "F8" only this time I changed back to Normal
boot up - It's working so far - I've restarted 3-more times and the nasty no
disk box is gone - Thanks
