Windows-No Disk message

On rebooting, after the desktop has appeared, there is a long pause and then
I get the message:

Windows--No Disk
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert.

The message can eventually be killed by clicking on 'Continue' a few times.
If I put a CD into the CD Drive and click on 'Try again' the message
disappears immediately. For some mysterious reason it seems to be looking for
a disk in the CD drive.

Boot into BIOS and check if the first boot device is set for CD-ROM. If yes,
change it to hard drive.

The key to access BIOS should be F1, F10 or Del.

I had the same message on rebooting. Tried the clean boot trobleshooting and
narrowed it down to one of the start up items in my msconfig. When I
unchecked mssysmgr (Nero - Ahead software) the reboot worked without that
message.
I went to control panel and removed the program Incd which is one of the
programs for Nero. Problem solved on my computer.
