windows must be actavated before you log in???

i had to replace the power supply on my computer this weekend. now when i
start it up i get to the windows login screen, put in my password and it
gives me this mesage. "this version of windows must be atavated to log in,
would you like to actavate now?" if you select yes it takes yo to a screen
that tells you that windows is already actavated and returns you to the login
screen. any help would be much welcomed.
