Windows Movie Maker

My Windows Movie Maker has suddenly stopped working. Everytime I launch it,
it says Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and has to close. I
have tried software repair wizared and restore but the problem remains. I
have had no major problems with it in the past. I do have other video editing
software on my computer but like to use Windows Movie Maker due to its ease.
Can anyone help?

I am having the same problem. I created a project, then saved it. Went back
to add to it and it says it has encountered a problem and has to close.
we need help.

I am having the same error message. Every time I "send error report" I also
get a message saying that microsoft has a fix for this but when I select it I
just get re-directed to the updates page which always shows that I have "0"
updates. I too began having this problem after finishing a project (about a
30 minute video).

I had the same problem after I installed Internet Explorer 7. I un-installed
it and now WMM works fine. You might try that. It has worked for a lot of
people. Hopefully MicroSoft will fix this soon. I kind of liked IE7, but
like WMM more.
