Windows movie maker

I am getting this error message every time I run Movie maker.
"Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience."
Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

Perform a System Restore.Select any restore point when everything was
just fine.
