windows movie maker crashed when

after i donwloaded the update movie maker 2.1 from the microsoft website and
installed the update i got the follow problem. When i loaded a project file
..mswmm and click with the mouse on 'storyboard' where i just loaded the
project. Movie maker crashed and shutdown, what is wrong? what can i do? i
worked 3 days on the project

First thing I would check is if any other third party DirectShow filters are
causing a problem.
