Windows Mirroring Software?

Hi All,

I want to create a backup computer. I have an extra machine with the
same storage as my main Windows machine.

My question is: Is there any software for Windows XP that will
basically mirror what happens on Computer #1 over my network to
Computer #2?

That way, if anything happens to Computer #1, I can be on Computer #2
with all my data, apps, etc.....

I'm also curious if the hardware needs to be the same, given the
Windows registry.......

Why not get a Raid controller for the first system and just use it to
setup a mirrored drive so that if one goes down the other takes over.
