I have 2 computers that are networked with a wireless
connection. A desktop and laptop. The laptop has the
ethernet card. I have a combo headset and mic for the
laptop. I can instant message with the laptop but when I
try to do a voice conversation it won't connect to the
computer I'm calling. I have tried calling different
computers and get the same result. I can talk with text
but not voice. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Thank You
Robert

Greetings Robert,

How are these computer's sharing internet access? If a router, the router must support either
Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) for voice/video to be successful. A number of routers now
support UPnP, but they may need a firmware update. Check your router manufacturers website
to see if there's an update for UPnP, or simply reply back here with the brand and model of
the router and we can quickly check to see if UPnP is available.
