Windows Messenger

I went to add/remove windows components and uninstalled Windows Messenger.
But, i still have windows messenger! Any idea???? Thanks.

Where? Kelly, i can't understand your question. I mean i uninstalled windows
messenger by unchecking it in Add/remove windows components. But it still was
there in my machine and kept logging into my passport whenever i connected to
the internet. Anyways, i looked into the dougknox website that you and rock
had posted. Based on a tip in that website, i went to the group policy editor
and enabled 'do not allow windows messenger to be run' and 'do not
automatically start windows messenger initially'. That seemed to have done
the trick.

I think you are confusing MSN Messenger with Windows Messenger.
