Windows media player

Hello all, The problem is that when i listen to music in wmp its all
distorted, but when i listen to a music cd its its fine iam useing wmp
10,someone told me to uninstall wmp and to reinstall but how do you do that
also it doesnt show up in Add & Remove Programs?
 
"Byte" Thank for the reply, i did a little research and found a new driver
for my sound card and also reinstalled WMP and it seems to be working alot
better,
