Windows Media player

when trying to use the player it gives me a message saying an internal
appliacation error has occured. how do i uninstall the player to download it
again

might be a roll back option in add/remove, or try
downloading over it. i would run chkdisk and defrag, and
delete temp files first.

You do not uninstall it nor download it again. Just reinstall it overtop of
itself.
