windows media player 11 problem

I just noticed that my media player doesn't want to burn CD's I get in the
upper right corner a message that says this "connect a burner and restart the
player"
I tryed almost everything that I read including going back to player 10 but
just doesn't work even another cd burner. Do u know anything else that I can
try?

A work around is to use this freeware :
