Every time I boot my system up, Windows Media Player
automatically opens - it is not in my start menu. Where
is the "auto-start when windows opens" set ? Can anyone
help ?

I am running XP.

Thanks.

Select Start--Run and type: msconfig. From this window, select the Startup
tab. These are programs that load when you boot into windows. See if Windows
Media Player in one of them. If so uncheck it. Let me know if that works.
