Windows media player 11

My computer came with media player 11 installed and I'm trying to roll back
to media player 9, as in my opinion it worked better for me and how I want
to see who' who when I'm playing albums. Every time I try to roll it back
I'm told you have a more recent version of media player on your computer and
setup will now close. Does anyone know how I go about rolling back?

Try this:

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs
Add/Remove Windows Components
Uncheck Windows Media Player.

Now try installing Media Player 9
