Windows Media Player won't play Youtube vids converted by Vdownloader

I told my cousin about Vdownloader for saving YouTube vids, but she's
saying they won't play on her Windows Media Player. They play fine on
my WMP ver. 10 under XP so obviously something is different with her
setup. Any suggestions?

If she is converting to AVI, she probably needs the divx codec.

Yes, don't use WMP.

Try either Media Player Classic or VLC Media Player:
