windows media player - premium services

how do I stop WMP from opening in the premium services?

better still--how do I get rid of the premium services button....the
"service" is a rip off and having MY COMPUTER open up in microsofts
advertising every time I want to use the player really gets up my goat.

the help in WMP is not help full---- there is no mention of the premium
services - except to say its there.
 
control panel, left side in add/remove and remove windows
programs. remove wmp then redownload it if you wish.
