Windows Media Player not finding pictures

Hi, Does anyone know how to help Media Centre find my pictures. I have
tried running the set up from inside Media centre again adn it shows the
folders that pictures are in, but 0 pictures? This is frustrating. Even
when re-running setup nothing seems to change. For example if I do not
choose any folders to watch, the centre still has the folders from previous
install/set ups?

When clicking on Pictures and Video|FOLDERS, I see all the folders that
are under c:|<username>|PICTURES and can choose a folder and its
individual shots.

This is not the case there?

No, the folders are there, but all of them contain 0 files!

When i go to the actual folder there are the phots and video clips, it's as
if they're not registering on media centre.
