Photos screen saver "stopped working"

My new HP media centre running Vista home premium will not run the PHOTOS
screen saver. I get the error " . . stopped working". I'm seeing more and
more of this question on other forum sites with no answer, so it appears I'm
not alone. Other screen savers run fine, and I'm not using a wireless
mouse or keyboard. My other PC running Vista home premium (with a wireless
setup) runs the photos screeen saver (same pictures) just fine. Any ideas?
I'm using the Vista supplied Radeon drivers . .the other with working photos
saver is running Vista intel graphics . .don't know if that is related.

I have exactly the same problem on my vista home premium. It worked fine
yesterday though, interestingly. Only changes that might have caused it were
installing some new programs and changing the power management. Any ideas?

Try downloading the newest driver directly from ATI.

The ones from MS are pretty buggy.

Thanks, but I have an nvidia card. I tried their latest, but no go.

Any other ideas?
