screen saver

When I have a wireless usb mouse plugged in, my screen saver never turns on.
If I take out the usb connector, the screen saver turns on. Is there a way
to get the screen saver to turn on regardless?

Thanks, Andre

Go to Windows update, run a check for new updates and, when the search is
over, select the optional 'HID' update and install it..

Thank you. I had the same problem. I didn't see a HID choice, though,
when I updated. Am I doing something wrong? Also, can you please tell
me how to get the On-Screen Keyboard to stop coming up at startup?
Thanks! Twila

It is in optional..
