Windows Media Player Error Message

Everytime i try to play something or use anything on media player 10 i keep
getting a message coming up saying %1 of this file is not supported by
win32....???

Does anybody know what this means or rather how to solve it??
Ive tried looking at all the trouble shoots and found nothing and when i go
on the web help that pops up it says there is no info about this message.

Please can somebody help me to have a life of music again!!!!
