I get this error message when ever i try to play a DVD. I
have never had a problem before and I can't figure out
what to do to fix it. Please help.

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a
problem occurred with digital copyright protection.
ERROR:
0xC00D1163: A problem occurred with digital copyright
protection

Dennis,

I get it from time to time. Highly annoying. I usually have to
restart XP to get it to stop doing that. Once it goes there, a
restart appears to only way to correct it.

Don't know why they insist on this sort of junk. For every
illegal copy it doesn't play, I bet 50,000 honest people
can't play their legal DVDs.
