digital copyright protection error

I am unable to play DVDs on my Dell 3100 PC at present because of "a problem
occured with digital copyright protection" (error id 0xC00D1163).

This happens on both the Windows and Dell media players but has not happened
before.

Both media players still play CDs.

Can anyone help please?

Sorry - my problem is different. The Windows troubleshooter from my error
leads to a page that cannot be displayed.

Thanks, anyway.

Yep, I'm having the identical problem, DVD's won't work with either Windows
or Dell media, get the same error message with Windows Media. Haven't had the
problem until now, last played a DVD a couple weeks ago and it worked fine.
Anyone?

I had the same problem. My problem ended up being with dell cineplayer. The
software had a problem starting december 1st according to dells website.
They have a patch to intall and it worked for me at least.
Hope this helps
