Windows Media Player cannot play the file

I'm have the same problem as Franz,
I upgraded to IE 7 and couldn't open video clips from the browser *error
message*( Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is located
on the Internet, connect to the Internet. If the file is located on a
removable
storage card, insert the storage card.)***
I have a cable modem and it working fine. So I loaded WMP 11, No help, same
message. I had no problems playing clips on the same web pages before the
changes now I have to save target to file and then open it to see it. Whata
pain!

I'm have the same problem as Franz,

I hav just got it working:
Under Options - Player - Player Settings: I had to enable "Connect to the
Internet".
