Windows Media Player 9

Hi,

I don't get the picture at all when I play AVI files, although I do get
sound.

Can someone point me in the right direction for resolving this issue.

Wrong newsgroup, but make sure you have the latest version of Quicktime
installed. Click on Help and then on 'Update Existing Software'.
 
Actually forget that and just try the following group:-

microsoft.public.multimedia.windows.mediaplayer
