Windows Media Player 10

-- Since installing and uninstalling Nero 7,my Windows media player will
not open videos I reeive in e-mail.II keeps trying to open in Nero 7 even
though Nero has been removed and as many residual pieces taken out (seardh
for Nero ).
I'm running xp sp2 with all critical updates installed as far as I know.Can
I safely rermove Media Player 10 and re-install?

I'm not sure what you mean by this? But searching for components
by a name, and randomly deleting could seriously cripple other
applications -
registry, codecs etc etc

Have you tried system restore to a point when you weren't randomly deleting
"Nero debris"?
