Hi Folks,

Is anyone using Windows Media Player 10 with SP2 ? Any problems with
it ? What are the benefits of MP 10 ?

Thanks

IMHO, WMP 10 is still in beta, I would stick w/ WMP 9 until the next
update of 10 comes along. WMP 10's interface is a bit nicer, but it has
many bugs still. You may not notice them, but then again you might, it
depends on what you expect of it. Some devices and plug-ins that worked
fine w/ 9 fail w/ 10.

WMP 10's main thrust is access to the MSN Music site - if you don't use
that then don't update to 10 yet. MS clearly pushed the release of WMP 10
to coincide w/ the MSN Music store's debut, and it just was not ready for
prime-time.

If you have a new portable device that specifically states it is wmp 10
compatable then maybe you should update to 10. Otherwise I would wait
(unless you're adventureous, like I was (note past-tense))

Thanks for the input folks. I guess I'll wait a while. WMP 9 is
working well so I'll just sit tight.

Thanks

I just installed it last night and ever since then, the screen within the
player is wiggling up and down and my internet explorer is also doing the
same thing...makes it impossible to read or click on anything. I think I'll
uninstall it until a later time.
