Windows Media Connect

Looking for some help please... I need to download Windows Media Connect, but
it seems to me that the only way to get it is by downloading Media Player 11.
However, when I try to download Media Player 11, I am not allowed because I
have Windows XP Media Center 2004. Medial Player 11 requires Media Center
2005.

Is there a way I can get Windows Media Connect other than by downloading
Media Player 11?
