Windows ME

A clean install of WinMe is pretty good - that's clean install. Here, it
runs well on one of the machines. No crashes to date and we been using it
for months. Come to think of it I can't recall WinMe crashing on me ever and
I've used it on three computers over time.

People who 'upgrade' to WinMe over Win95/98 seem to experience problems and
people who put it on only some older hardware seem to too. But on relatively
up-to-date computers a clean install of WinMe can be quite good and stable,
and, in a few situations, noticeably faster performing than the very stable
WinXP. WinMe is basically an even more improved version of Win98 which
greatly improved upon Win95.
