Windows Maximize.

Weird problem. When I walk away from my PC, I lock it.
When I come back to my PC and unlock it it, automatically
all of the applications i have running maximize. Its
really annoying and I have no clue where to even start to
fix this. I would appreciate any insight you guys have
on this.

Check for spyware (with Adware 6)

Change your lock password. Someone else may know it.

Try ActiveScreenLock, a program that can perform locking functions of
log on screen in WinXP, but it can be customized to your needs. You
can choose wallpaper, transparency (you'll be able to monitor running
applications, while PC is locked). It can show clock and date, log
invalid attempts to login, etc. The program is easily launched with
one click.

And of course, all your windows will be ok
