I have Windows Mail set up on two different computers for the same email
account. One computer runs Vista and the other XP. The Vista computer shows
all mail regardless if I've checked it on the XP computer. If I receive the
mail on the Vista computer, it doesn't show up on the XP computer later.
What can I do to ensure that I see all mail on both computers?

This also works on XP’s Outlook Express. Here is the 'wording' for Vista's
Windows Mail. It's a simple procedure if your ISP allows mail to be left on
their server:

1. On all PCs:
Open Windows Mail > Tools > Accounts > Mail [mail account(s)] > Properties >
Advanced Tab > Delivery and put a check in ‘Leave a copy of messages on
server‘.

2. On one PC:
Open Windows Mail > Tools > Accounts > Mail [mail account(s)] > Properties >
Advanced Tab > Delivery and select ‘Remove from server after XX days’ (choose
as appropriate)

3. Optional on one PC (if you delete mail when closing Windows Mail on Tools
Options > Maintenance Tab):
Open Windows Mail > Tools > Accounts > Mail [mail account(s)] > Properties >
Advanced Tab > Delivery and put a check in ‘Remove from server when deleted
from Deleted Items.

4. Send an email to yourself to check that it's working on all machines.

Thank you. I think this will fix it.
