I am running Vista and many of my contacts complain they receiving TWO copies
of every e-mail I send. I sent one to myself and received TWO!

I am using Trend Micro.

Check in Tools, Accounts, and verify that there are no duplicate accounts.

You may have your email account specified twice.
Check Tools > Accounts
