Please Help

Whenever I had Outlook for mail it would automatically put the first letter
in a sentence upper case and change i to I without me having to do anything.
Does Windows Mail do that?

No, WinMail does not have a feature like that.

No, but the newer program, Windows Live Mail, does some of that.
It's a feature called auto-correction. Windows Live Mail will capitalize any
single letter 'i', and corrects common typos, like changing 'teh' to 'the'.
However, it does not generally capitalize the first letter in a sentence.
