If you use stationery in Win Mail it seems to use Aerial whatever font
you may have selected for Mail.

Any way to fix this??

Thanks Steve; I was hoping for best of both worlds ie stationery of
choice & font.
Obviously too much of an ask for folks at Redmond.

Wish I could speed up the appearance of new (Windows Mail) e mail on
screen; seems to be common problem,
that I never had with O Express; disabled scanning in A/v, no change.

It seems to be common problem. with blame laid at recent Win update.

Experimented with opening up Win Live Mail form, but initial delay
still there,
before e mail form appears on screen.

The font in some stationery is dictated in the BODY element and so cannot be
changed when typing a message. If you compose with stationery (HTML), you
can go to View | Source Edit and change the font specification in the HTML
Source tab. That is not an option with WLM.
