Windows Mail Username / Password

out of the blue when i clicked send/receive i was asked for username and
password. I could not remember as I haven't been asked since signing up. I
have tried everything I know using > account > server tab. I think I have
messed right up. How can I get my details or should I form a new account...
Very frustrated !!!

If you have forgotten your password for that mail account, contact
your mail provider.
