Windows mail Shutdown

Guest

When I shutdown Windows Mail, it appears to shutdown properly. Unfortunately
when I try to open Mail again the system tells me that Mail is already open,
eventhough there is no window open. I then have to go into Task Manager,
Processes and end the WinMail.exe process, before I can open a Mail window.
Any ideas, please ????????

Sounds like an antivirus or antispam program is causing your problem. Try
disabling all options within those programs that might "touch" your email,
such as scanning email before arrival. In particular if you are using
either Norton or McAffee products for this function, you may well have
continuing problems with receiving/sending messages with Windows Mail. Your
choice.
