Windows mail sends two mails every time

I'm not a newbie, but new to Vista. Everytime I try to send an e-mail in
Windows Mail, the program automatically duplicates the address with the < and
brackets around it a second time and sends two identical mails instead of
one. This is pretty annoying to say the least for recipients. I've tried
typing in the address and hitting send quickly (on a test) but the program is
too fast for me, it duplicates the address anyway. I'm getting complaints
from recipients. What to do?

Try going to Tools from windows Mail, than Accounts. Look to see if there are
any accounts other than the one you are using and delete any extra ones that
are in there. I had 5 emails going at a time and this resolves my problem.

The behaviour in the Address in the To: line is by design.

Your problem is that you have the account duplicated at Tools menu>Accounts,
delete one of them.

Thanks!! That took care of it. It must have happened when I ran the file
transfer from my old computer.
