Windows Mail-Sending files over 2Mb

Windows Mail expects a response from the service provider within 1-5 minutes.
Whilst I receive at 100Mbps I can send at only about double dial up speed. I
have to sit at the computer until the file is sent otherwise Mail reports
"The server has not responded in 300 seconds" "Wait or Cancel" Each time I
select "Wait" and hit "Send/Receive" again. Eventually the file goes. If I
leave the computer I often have the situation where the email has been sent
but it stays in the Outbox. OUTLOOK allows twice the time, 10 minutes, before
the "No responce...Wait or..Cancel" process starts. That means very few
problems under 7Mb.

IS THERE A FIX OR DO i REVERT TO OUTLOOK?

Mail isn't really the appropriate medium for transferring files of that sort
of size. Instead, get some server space somewhere, and send a link to your
recipients.

Peter, from the tenor of your posts here tonight, it sounds like you'd be
much better off using OL as your default Mail Client. (There's a reason
Windows Mail is free but OL is not.)
