Windows Mail query

Hi

I've gone and deleted an email that I'd wanted to keep by accident. Not only
have I deleted it from my inbox, I've also emptied my deleted items folder
too.

I vaguely remember years ago when using Outlook Express there was a way I
could get into my email server(?) to retrieve deleted emails as I've done
something similar a while ago. But I can't remember what I did to retrieve
the email.

Any ideas??

My method for POP3 is to have
Tools > Accounts > (account name) > Properties > Advanced > Delivery
set to 'leave a copy of messages on server' for so many days.

Then I use web mail access to the mailbox to set it to 'unread' and
download it again. This is also useful for any spam identification
false positive errors by my mail service.

I don't know how much of that applies to you of course :)
