Ok I have not complained for quite a while. Not that the Vista experience
has gotten any better, (it just gets worse).

Windows Mail, when (or whenever) it just happens when it wants to will start
giving a msgbox "An error occurred while attempting to display the Windows
Live ID Sign-In Dialog. Now this never goes away. Reboot.

I had just posted to another newsgroup and then switched to another group
that I was monitoring.

Anyone from MS care to comment??

I'm not from MS but I'll comment.

I get the same thing from time to time.
No need to reboot though.

Just stop the task with Taskmgr and start WMail again.

Thanks for the confirmation. I could stop the task but I prefer to reboot
since it seems that WMail will respond to the reboot message it will get
from the system.

I really want to hear from someone at MS. I think that it would be good for
them to acknowledge the ..... (fill in the blanks) operating system that
Vista is.

Lloyd,

There are few, if any, MS folks here to comment. Just folks attempting to
learn and help. There is a Windows Vista Mail newsgroup for posting this
question.

I've had Vista about 3 weeks and I like it more and more.
Sure there are some teething problems but they're no big deal
for me... I used to be an IBM MVS sysprog and had to go to work
at 4am most Sundays (the only convenient time to reboot the mainframes)
to apply fixes to systems.

I don't think anyone from MS will respond via these fora.

If you really wanted to hear from someone at MicroSquish, why didn't you
call THEM? These are per-to-peer groups!

By the way, are you backing up your data religiously?

Turn off Windows Live ID in the Account Properties
of Microsoft Communities
and he won't see the message again.

Thanks, did not see that option.

This is also an intermittent problem. If you want to use the
Communities features just ignore the error for the time being.
Not really a big deal, it happens occasionally all the time.
