I am trying to set up my computer up to receive e-mail from my Yahoo.Bizmail
accounts. My goal is to receive all my e-mail account at my new Windows
Mail/Outlook Express on my new Vista computer.

Here is a copy of the messgae that is received upon attempting to transfer
the mail to Window Mail:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'pop.bizmail.yahoo.com (1)', Server:
'pop.bizmail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Please give me a tip on how to fix this issue.

Thanks, Anthony

Hi,

Are you using a Antivirus solution with is capable to scan email befor they
arrive?
Maybe that's the reason. I had this problem in the past with AVAST!

Please try to use port 110 for POP3 and port 25 for SMTP first.
Then try again to connect.

Many greetings form Germany

Port 995 requires the SSL option.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced,
then enable the SSL option.
