aol recieves mail but can not get my settings right for yahoo mail

hi :D and thanks for any help.
my aol send/receive works fine but i can't get yahoo to work. i'm using the
server and port settings listed on yahoo help.
when i try to send/receive yahoo mail i get this error message:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'Yahoo Mail', Server: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0F

Server Response: '-ERR [SYS/PERM] pop not allowed for user.', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Server Response: '-ERR [SYS/PERM] pop not allowed for user.', Port: 110,

Set the ports back (to recommended - not defaults) and try setting SSL on
(check the two boxes on the Advanced tab) . . . if it still doesn't work
post errors here as you've been doing. It may also be that you will need to
disable email scanning in your anti-virus software. One thing at a time and
wait for responses here . . . . . this is a very active, responsive group.

Donna,
You are using Plus Yahoo settings. That is a yahoo program one has to pay
for. YES ?
Assuming that you did pay for it, then you have to .......
1. ) enable SSL to YES, not NO.
2. ) port # is 995 as you did earlier, NOT 110.
Here is the link, check and compare with your own settings.
