Hi,

i have an email stuck in my outbox, I can't remove it, I can't send it, my
other gmail accounts work fine. Now i cannot send any mail from that specif
account, but I can receive. I tried changing the "from" address to another
gmail account listed on my Windows Mail send that email but it does not want
to send it.

Please can anyone give me some ideas on what to do

Thank you

Download and install this hotfix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit version
of Vista or a 64-bit version, try the hotfix for the 32-bit version first.
Certain common antivirus programs, such as most of those from
Norton or McAfee, tend to cause stuck messages and other problems
in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately, so if you have such a
program, remember where to find the hotfix, and hope it will install
again if you need it again. A recent version of the Trend antivirus
program also causes assorted peoblems in Windows Mail.

The Vista SP1 update includes this hotfix and more, but takes longer
to install.

The hotfix or update will not necessarily delete that message, but should
at least make it possible for you to delete it.

I would just delete the outbox folder
close windows mail and reopen and a new empty folder will be there

As I wrote before, you seem to be replying to a rather old message,
one written before the current fix for such problems became available:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

The Vista SP1 update is an alternate fix, but takes longer to install.

Windows Mail is unlikely to allow you to delete any of its default
folders, such as Outbox, even if it allows you to delete folders
you told it to add.

Oh well, it works for me and I am getting rid of the dreaded vista as soon as
possible so don't want any more "fixes" to add:)
thanks again and again;);)
