Windows Mail Error

I keep getting an error message saying that Windows Mail cannot open the
message store and that Windows Mail is currently being used by another
program, such as a virus scanner. Close the program or wait for it to
complete its operation.

I use AVG and it isn't scanning anything, but I can't seem to access Windows
Mail.

also it says that MSOE.DLL could not be initialized.

Can anyone help??

In order for AVG antivirus to be compatible with Windows Mail,
it must have been installed by selecting the custom install option,
where it gives you the ability to unselect the email scanning module.
Unless you used that install method, AVG will need to be uninstalled
and reinstalled.
