Windows mail disconnects MSN dialup when I close the Windows Mail

When I close the windows mail, or after I send a new question in the
newsgroups. I get disconnected soon afterwards from the internet.
Where do I change these settings?

Tools>menu>options>connections tab>remove checkmark from 'hang up after send
& receive'>apply/ok
